Convert .GPI to .GPX?

Anyone know of a way to convert the .GPI files over to .GPX or some other format that can be edited?

I bought some of those Scenic maps from Garmin and would like to, at least, see the routes within Mapsource. And at best, be able to alter the route as needed.

Any ideas if this is doable?

It's doable, but I never have.

Go to Google and type .gpi to .gpx. I bet you will find your answer.

Yeah, I tried the google route and was not able to find anything that worked so far. So that is why I posed the question here, in case someone has already done it or knows how.

Garmin POI Tools

Look down in the second post... You'll see a link to Garmin POI Tools... click that and then take a look at the options. I think the Garmin POI Tolls is a free-bee download and sounds like it's what you want.

Tommy, thanks for looking that up and giving me the link. Unfortunately, I had already tried it and re-tried it again just now to be sure and it doesn't work. It gives me an unrecognized format error.
