I use Adblock Plus on my desktop. It’s free (I send them a few bucks on occasion) and rarely ever an issue.
I don’t, however, have it on my phone and the ads there are problematic. But I don’t use my phone very often for the forum. Maybe I should add it…

I use Brave now as they broke Firefox several years ago on my phone (Android) and it works great. I am assuming you are using Brave on a desktop as the mobile browser doesn't have provisions for add-ons.

Yes, my computer is hooked up to my tv

Sorry guys, I use Apple never seen what OP is talking about. MacBook Air, IPad Pro, iPhone 14+.

I use Brave on a MacBook Pro. I have not seen this issue. I am not a premium member, but I'm a pretty nice guy :) My search engine defaults to DuckDuckGo. When I think about it, I see TuckTuckRide!!

My search engine is duckduckgo.
But my point is that the board should not allow ads to prevent the reading of content.

For the record, I am using a Kindle Fire HD10, Silk browser and running Trend Micro Mobile Security. Shouldn't be any malware getting through it.

I assume you don't see ads because your account is Premium. ;)

I don't, and my account isn't. UBlock Origin, Ghostery, AdBlocker Ultimate with Firefox browser on my iMac.

The Admin's reply is addressing the comment implying that using Apple is the reason that ads weren't being shown - it's not. Nothing to do with OS. You guys are using types of ad blockers.

That reply could have been a bit more wordy and explanatory... ;)

I use Apple iPad with IOS and have been using Crystal Add Blocker for years …. Never see annoying adds… the ones that do get through are easy to navigate around… it’s a simple add blocker without many user setting to fuss with. You can turn it on and off is about it…. Never turn it off since I loaded it years ago. If it blocks me out off a webpage I try to use I just move on.
