How do you check? Do you screw the dip stick in fully or just place it on top of filler neck? I 'm curious!
Shucks paw, i thought you had to drain it, measure it and then pour in new oil. I thought that stick on the end of that there oil screw plug was to puncture that seal on them new oil cans. Sha.zam...learned me something new.:shock:
It is! It is! Even though I don't even have 6,000 miles, I've never checked the earl...:joke:Must be a Louisiana thing. I put 110,000 miles on my 95 wing and have 114,000 on my 03 and have never checked the oil....
No man, you have described an oil change. To check it you drain it, measure it, and pour the same oil back in.Shucks paw, i thought you had to drain it, measure it and then pour in new oil. Well, now that it is a trike, and no sidestand, when we check the oil we let all the air out of the left rear tire to get the correct lean.......thats why we don't bother to check it. Too hard to get the same air back into the tire......Huh....and I was thinkin that it was for guys that can't hold up a two wheeler anymore!![]()
