HD sells Lithium for their bikes but I'm not sure if they have gone to OEM from factory.
Of course they want you to buy their HD lithium charger. Plus you have to be wearing a HD t-shirt when you hook it up. LOL
I got one of those Harley lithium Iron batteries for my 2018 FLTRU (Road Glide Ultra) and it was running strong when I sold the bike two years later. I did not buy the HD branded charger, but rather bought an Optimate B3300 0.8 amp charger. As I recall, standing in the parts dept looking at the packaged HD lithium charger, it looked more like a limited function tender than a real multi-function charger.
Anyone who has seen and hefted a Harley AGM battery out of one of their tourers knows it is more like a battery out of a small car. It is big, and very heavy. Replacing it with the lithium eliminated many pounds of dead weight. Besides the weight reduction, the lithium battery turns over the big twin noticeably stronger.
I never used the Optimate lithium charger on that HD branded battery. It just was never necessary. In the early days, I measured resting voltage often and when it was obvious that the lithium maintained its 13.2 volts no matter what, I stopped thinking about the battery at all. Except when I pushed the start button on a hot California day. I always loved hearing that big motor turn over so strong. I never had a hint of a glitch with the HD lithium in those 2 years, and I'm all but certain whoever rides that bike now still enjoys that battery.
The Harley brand is on the lithium you buy from them, but for sure it is made by an outside supplier, and I have no idea who that is. I paid $300 for it, and never regretted spending that much. The weight reduction along with obviously superior starting ability of the lithium is worth it.
