Looking for an economical motel in Natchez in a good area. All recommendations appreciated. Thanks in advance.

There are several very good motels in Natchez, some better across the the river in Vidalia, LA. on the river and VERY NICE!!! I stayed there for a bolloon fest and had a ball! Have a great time and be SAFE!!!:congrats:

 

Days Inn sucks also...as I was unloading the trailer, my wife was checking out the room. She came outside telling me that we were not staying there. Someone had stepped on a roach and left it on the bathroom floor.

 

There are several B&B's in Natchez that are very good.

Stay across the river in Vidalia, Comfort suites i think. They let you park the bike by front door. Rooms are great.

There is a VERY nice NEW hotel accross the street from the "**** of the Walk" restaurant. the front door faces the Miss. River/ LA. I stayed there last year but i cannot remember the name..........Best Western mayby. It is located in the old part of downtown area, parking is safe and in a fenced area. they let us park our bikes under the front door enterance. I will do more to find out the name and get back to you.

There are a couple of pretty good places on the river close to under the hill. There are some good places just on the Louisiana side. Just as you come off the bridge on the Louisiana side on the right there is a seafood house that is not much to look at but great food.

I think that "economical motel " means a cheap motel? The "cheap ones" are dumps....trust me

Too Tall

The Hotel that I am talking about is in Natchez (not LA side) very close to all the downtown stuff you might want to go to.

PS: Natchez is a beautiful place and there are many homes to go look at. Most of them are bed and breakfast. If you are going now you might just catch the end of the azaleas blooming and the dog woods!!!!!!
