Does anyone have a GOOD cell phone holder? I have iPhone XR . I would like something that I can put it into that has some type of lanyard so I won’t loose it and protect it from rain, etc…. But then there is something to take into consideration of overheating. I really don’t like the idea of having it on the handlebars. I was thinking/looking for something that could put on either side of the cubby lids, gas cap cover. If I have to on handlebars I will. I just think that there is enough on handlebars already. Thanks.

I bought a Quad-lock wireless waterproof phone charger holder and it is wonderful. Phone cannot come loose. They have a rain pouch too. I now have them on two bikes and my truck. The car has a suction cup that could mount on your windshield but you would have to buy the waterproof charger head for it.

How did you install it. We don't have fork stems

I have been using X Grip since I got the bike and on the handlebar. No rubber straps needed to support my Iphone 12 Pro. I find it very convenient on the bar. I control Amazon Music, Waze and MyQ APP(not while riding, lol) and will not change it....!!!! The X-Grip does the job perfectly and the mount looks perfect on the bike.

I have the X lock also. Makes it easier to restart my streaming talk shows every few minutes.
I have the Samsung A20 smart phone. Doesn't seem to like being linked to the bike or helmet system and keeps disconnecting every few minutes. Android Auto makes things even worse. The screen is constantly rebooting. Yeah, I tried reloading the software but no deal.

On my CBR in the pictures that I now reloaded... I mounted a standard Ram Ball flat mount on my brake reservoir with JB Weld. Trimmed the mount so it fit on my reservoir such that the screws can still be accessed. Then used a 2" extension to go between the two ram balls.
On the 2015 GW I used a Ram Ball mount that takes the place of the half moon clamp that holds either your clutch reservoir assy or your front brake lever assy on and also used the 2" extension. Look up XXGUY on YouTube channel to see it better if you need to.
I'll take some pictures after work of the GW setup.

2015 wing quadlock wireless charger and vibration damper. That last photo is automatic shut-off so it can't ever draw the battery down. It shuts off the power 1 hr after the battery voltage lowers to 13.1 volts (basically 1 hr after I shut the bike down) or immediately if the voltage gets down somewhere around 12.2.

With any aftermarket holder mounted on the handlebars of the OEM goldwing bars. Where will be vibration with the length of the bars with no support brace between the LH & RH handlebars. The quad lock is awesome product for the bike that your able to mount on the center steering location.
