Today I installed the Vantrue Falcon 1 Dashcam on my 2023 Gold Wing. It was not at all difficult but a little time consuming since I had to decide where to put everything and then how to route the wires. It required no drilling or any modification to the bike. For anyone considering doing it, here is how I got it done.
First remove the seat. That is the only thing that gets removed. No other covers need to be taken off.
Next decide which side of the console you want to run 2 wires. I found the right side to be easier, but both sides work. The 2 wires you are running are for the front camera and the units remote.

Next run the wiring for the power. It's a 3 wire bundle but they are very thin. One goes to positive terminal on the battery, one to negative and one to the acc screw in the fuse compartment. They are all labeled.
I installed the main units controller in the trunk, so all wires lead back to there. In the trunk there is already a hole with a rubber grommet. Pop that out and run the wires through the hole.
the front camera I installed under the front fairing, the rear camera on top of the license plate, the remote on the dash.

Haha. That was tonight's plan and I went for a nice ride. Got home and nothing. Turns out that before I left I turned it off by mistake. The picture in the manual of the buttons shows what each does, but like a dummy I didn't realize that mine is mounted upside down, so instead of turning off the wifi, I turned off the recording. 😡
Another ride tomorrow I guess. As far as the app, it's very simple to use and gives you control of every feature. It's actually quite good.
So far the only negatives I feel are very minor. One is the voice is a Chinese female with a strong accent. Not a big deal but a generic "Alexa" type voice would be nicer. The second is that the camera mounts only have up and down adjustments. Side to side would be nice. The lens is wide angle so unless you mounted it very crooked it's fine.

These are great but how deep run the wires? Do they go down into the engine bay or stay shallow and along the side of the glove box? I’m trying to install mine today and having a heck of a time fishing the wires along the glove box. Thank you
