  1. Bluetooth Communication System – I use a Sena unit to stay connected with riding buddies and take calls hands-free. Game-changer for long rides.
  2. Anti-Fog Pinlock Visor Insert – A must for early morning or cold-weather rides. Keeps the visor crystal clear without annoying fog buildup.
  3. Helmet Camera (GoPro) – Great for recording rides or documenting incidents. Also fun for sharing scenic routes.
  4. Helmet Lock – Small investment, big peace of mind when I leave my helmet on the bike.
  5. Reflective Decals – Boosts visibility at night. Safety meets custom style.
  6. Comfort Liners & Pads – Helps with fit and hygiene, especially for summer rides.
  7. Quick-Release Chin Strap – Much easier than fiddling with D-rings every time.

I just picked up some in ear hearing protectors with built in speakers. They are 3.5mm jacked so can plug into the cardo bold I have.

Another accessory I’ve found useful is made I think by ShowChrome. It’s a small glove finger that is slipped over the end of the boom mic. It keeps wind from turning the mic on but allows speaking to turn on the mic as usual thanks to the few small holes punched in the leather. A small drawstring keeps it secure.

In-ear hearing protectors/speakers are illegal in some states. It is because “you can’t hear emergency vehicles approaching”. Strangely enough ear plugs ARE legal. Check your state laws and the laws of states you plan to travel through. Politicians with nothing better to do I guess.

I noticed drivers behind me seem to hang farther back than before I installed it.
