What color wire is HOT and also Ground for 12V power plug under left pocket

A 12V power plug and an aux audio input plug are under and forward of your left dash pocket. They are inside a large rubber boot. They Hitachi type plastic modular plugs. The audio plug has 3 wires to it (Rt and LFT channel and common. The power plug has places for 3 wires but only has 2 wires going to it. Positive (hot) and ground.

What colors are the HOT and GROUND please

I have the top shelter off so i don't think that will work. There is a darker green that I think is ground and a multi colored one that I think is HOT

Green........G........for Ground Always...........

Plug is red..........wire color?? Put a tester on it and touch neg of tester to the bike frame......

The power wire is light green with a black stripe.

SOLID GRASS GREEN = GROUND on all Honda motorcycles.

Accessory plug is LIGHT GREEN/BLACK 01-05. After 06+, BLACK/GREEN.

Battery is RED/YELLOW.

Be aware that prior to 2006, the LIGHT GREEN/BLACK was supplied power through the bike's audio/accessory circuit with a 15 amp fuse for ALL of the stuff that ran off of it. After 2005, that line under the left box is protected by a 5 amp fuse only and has a BLACK/GREEN wire.
