A friend of mine just had his bike triked. I want to buy his rear wheel and tire. Neither of us know what is a fair price.

I bought a wheel and tire (no brake parts) on ebay for $40 plus shipping. I would think $75 would be a good place to start.

I get them for $50 - rear differentials for the same price.
For that money it's handy to have a spare rim. I mount a new CT and just wait 5 years or 45k and then swap them in minutes.
