I'm just going to install a delay device onto the power line for the Zumo so I don't have to mess with it.

Yes, Sena is paired to bike as Phone.

Interesting comments about adding another bluetooth connection. Maybe that presents enough of a delay in the pairing process to resolve timing issues.

I pair the head set to the bike as a head set. Pair the phone to the bike as phone. Pair the Zumo xt to the head set. Works perfectly

The Sena is paired to the bike as a Headset on the Gold Wings menu, but you also have to select how it is being paired at the Sena, and the only choices on the Sena are either phone, second phone, or GPS. So from the Sena, you have to select pairing as phone, but on the bike you pair it as headset. So the Sena treats the bike as a Phone, but the Bike treats the Sena as a headset. Confused yet?

The new Sena 60S is advertised to be able to better handle multiple bluetooth connections. I'm hopeful that it won't have the same issues as the Sena 50S does when pairing to both the bike and a GPS at the same time. I'll have to get my hands on one first and test it out.
