So, stupid question. I use my Nav all the time after making a route on the Harley Planner and downloading it to my Wing. Keeps me on roads I want to use and works pretty well. Can you create a route on Carplay? Or just put in a destination with some preferences like "no expressways"?

It is a downgrade over the 2018 to 2024 bikes. I know there has been alot of negative talk about Honda's navi over the year, but I like it and use it all the time, and hardly ever use Android Auto because working it with the bike handlebars controls is just so clumsy..the Honda navi works better with the bikes handlebar controls.
I was hoping Honda would had improved its navi, not eliminate it..I guess that 10 years of navi updates Honda promised us is over now...we didn't even get 8 years of updates.

Does this mean that they got rid of that crappy infotainment system that craps out? Hmmm, maybe a 2025 might be the way to go. Hopefully, @Fred H. can give us some info on this. It also looks like if you want chrome you gotta get a gold Goldwing.

Well, if they can't resuscitate that old dinosaur they put on the 2018+ it's best they finally bury it since the majority of were always bitching up a storm about how antiquated it was. I got Android Auto and options, no need for Honda's embarrassingly poor quality Nav!

I kinda like the 'Iron Man' look of the gold/silver combo of the front view.

Can't decide if losing the NAV altogether is a good thing or bad thing. I know some of you hate it, but I find it useful.

Or perhaps motorcycle ownership is just not your thing anymore (or never was) but for me I LOVE my 2019 GL 1800 and plan on riding the wheels off it

Well, the older models still has Android Auto and Apple Car Play..but with also the option of the built in navi that was very useful... and now that option has been deleted and thats a downgrade over the earlier models.
The main problem with the Honda navi is it is not all that intuitive...it takes a bit of a learning curve to figure out how it actually works. It's clear from the comments with just finding an address in the Honda system, that alot of owners never really learned how it works and there are many user errors, and then the Honda navi gets the blame...Honda should had fixed that issue for the masses....make the navi more intuitive along with offering better color contrast and the ability to see the back roads when zoomed out farther... instead Honda deletes it instead of improvements ..thats a serious downgrade with the 2025 model IMO.
I'm glad I have what I have, the 2025 offers me nothing that would make want to trade my 2018 for.
Maybe, lots of Honda's engineers are ladies

Most of us just expected MUCH more for a 2025 50th anniversary model.........especially since Honda seemed to tease and insinuate it was going to be something over the top.
