Yup.......best $3.99 I've spent in a long time! 😊
I will happily pay the four bucks as soon as they get the Android Auto version working.

It looks good on the phone. Not sure where they source the radar imagery in Australia (I'm sure it's not from the local wx radar stations) but we had showers here yesterday and the MyRadar display was very close to the local radar (and to what was falling on my roof).

After seeing this thread, I opened MyRadar and there was a notification that it's available with Car Play now. So I went out to my truck and plugged in my Iphone. Sure enough MyRadar showed up on the Car Play screen. As far as I know I don't have MyRadar Pro, just MyRadar, which I've used for years and as far as I can remember I've never paid anything for it. It seems to work well in the truck. Next time I have the GW out I'll try MyRadar and see how it works with the bike.

... Renews at $29.99/year
Incorrect.....
Pro version is a one time only fee of $3.99

Premium version is a renewable subscription of $29.99/year.........which most people don't need/want for the Goldwing.

For those of us who don't use b/t headsets, wasn't there a previous post discussing the use of a dongle to achieve the desired result of having carplay show up on the screen?

I just discovered that the latest update of MyRadarPro now works on Apple Car Play on the Wing. I've been using this app for years because it is one of the better weather radar apps out there. Now we can use it on the Wing, and it doesn't cost anything.

It is also reported to be available on Android Auto, but haven't confirmed this myself since I don't have an Android phone.

This is great. I hadnt heard of this app till now. Used it this morning on my work commute and it was great to see the weather moving as I was riding in. Thanks! And yes I was able to view it on CarPlay on my 2018 GW.

I have loaded the MyRadar app and it runs fine on my 2018 with ACP.

My question is how do you change the three left side app icons to read the three you want?

I moved the icons on my iPhone and can get them to change on the main icon screens but cannot get the three left side apps/icons to change.

If I launch MyRadar it replaces my Apple maps icon. If I then launch Apple maps, it replaces my MyRadar icon. I want both MyRadar and Apple maps icons as two of the three left side icons.

If you notice Fred has MyRadar, Music and Phone on his left side.

Brian has MyRadar, Phone and an app icon I'm not familiar with.

Must be a way.

Those 3 icons on the left of the main ACP screen are the most recently used APPs......they cannot be permanently arranged in a specific order.
You can blame Apple for that, not Honda.....
They usually show (from top to bottom) the last used application in this order:

1. Map APP (Waze, My Radar, etc)
2. Music APP (Music, Sirius/xm, etc)
3. Communication APP (Phone, Message)

The APP selection screens can be arranged in a specific order by arranging them on your iPhone under General/Carplay/Honda Goldwing/Customize.
Then drag them in whatever order you would like or delete APPS from showing up in ACP.

It works exactly the same on Android Auto. The three icons at the bottom of the screen are the most recently used - you can't permanently assign them.

You can change what appears on the main AA menu screen and the order they appear by accessing the Customize Launcher option under Android Auto settings on your phone.

Brian and others thank you for the help.

Arranging the app icons on the phone I have been doing. You can even see them change immediately after the change on the bike's screen when you change on the phone. That's for the larger screen of app icons.

I tried the "most recent" used icons to try and get both the MyRadar and Apple maps on at the same time in the left side three. The bottom two will change to most recent used but Apple maps and MyRadar will only go in the top position. I can't (me) using all kind of sequences, get MyRadar and Apple Maps in two of the left three position at the same time.

Must not be holding my mouth right or standing on one leg while I do it.

What's the trick (sequence) to get them together on the left 3?

Pretty sure you can't do that......
The MyRadar app is considered a map application and will only go in the top slot, same as Apple Maps.
