• Apple CarPlay and Android Auto can now be used wirelessly on all Gold Wing versions.
• Given the widespread adoption of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the Gold Wing's native navigation system has been eliminated for 2025.
• "Since 1975" has been added to the Gold Wing logo that appears at the meter's "opening ceremonies" when the bike is turned on.
• On standard versions, a Gold Wing logo across the saddlebags and side fairings adds a bold styling treatment.
• A special 50th Anniversary badge is situated in front of the seat and on the Smart Key, commemorating the Gold Wing's important milestone (on all versions except for Light Silver Metallic).
• For model-year 2025, all Gold Wing versions in Eternal Gold, Bourdeaux Red Metallic and Matte Black Metallic (not Light Silver Metallic) come with two free commemorative gifts: a coffee-table book and a tabletop 3D 1:12 scale model. The model features a 1975 Gold Wing on one side and a 2025 Gold Wing on the other side.

I glossed over this initially and thought it still had nav, but I just read it again. Maybe it's a good thing to just drop it. They never keep the maps up anyway.

I like having the nav on the bike. I use it quite often. Works fine for my use. Plus I don't need cell service, although lack of cell service seems rarely a problem anymore.

Silver is on a couple models.

But those are not the "50th" anniversary models. For the special badging at least.
I will offer this: Last year at this time, I saw the 2024 White/Black/Red and fell in love with the color combo. I hesitated all year about getting one, waiting to see if the 2025 would have ACC and other features. I finally bought mine in October and after seeing these 2025, I am very happy to have my 2024 in White/Black/Red. Yes, the wireless AA would be nice but I use the native nav a lot and would regret not having it.
I know someone will love the gold but I do not find it appealing nor retro enough to be cute.

Wireless CP is the only improvement.......pretty lackluster for 50th anniversary IMHO.

Since it looks like they eliminated the built-in Navi for 2025........guess our chances of 2018 - 2024 owners getting an Navi update is next to none.

Except when riding in the mountains...the cell phone works here and there at best in the mountains

I am disappointed as well and not surprised at all. Honda is never first on tech in bikes. 50th model, this bike should have looked like the Audi Q tech in it. BUT.....BUT I am glad now, cause I would probably get one and not in the mood to spend on one . So, cheers to LAZY minded Honda and cheers to my bank account. 2020 it is, for now.

THIS!! Don't talk about upgrades and then "up-up-and -away grade" like it's something big and come out with this. It's a great bike, but taking away Nav it's almost a downgrade.

See how that cell phone GPS works west of the Mississippi!

It works fine as long as you have cell service, also you can down load a map. But! Get into your route and decide to make a change using your cell phone GPS and no towers it just stops working. I use the bike's GPS, or my added on Garmin 90% of the time. I use my cell phone once in a while, and mostly around my home area. There is a whole lot of area in the west with no cell service, regardless of what cell service maps would like you to believe. I can travel less than 100 miles out of Fargo and lose cell service for some distance.
